About Manasota Key Florida
Manasota Key is a unique barrier island located off the Southwestern coast of Florida between Sarasota and Ft. Myers and offers the true old Florida feel that we all beckon back to. No high rises, traffic lights or traffic jams, simply the beach and relaxation. The island is separated from the mainland by the intracoastal waterway which affords homeowners the option of owning beachfront or bayfront homes or condos. Fishing and golfing are always an option.
This area of Florida has been largely undiscovered by the masses due to the lack of a major highway nearby. The Tampa International Airport is only 80 minutes away and the Ft. Myers International Airport is 90 minutes away. There are also direct flights into Sarasota and Punta Gorda from many locations across the country making travel to this piece of paradise relatively easy.
